We explored the Needles section of Canyonlands NP and checked out Natural Bridges NM. River rafting on the San Juan River was lit with fine views. The place was clean, comfy beds, and parking right by the room made it easy for our group. Just be prepared for some highway noise.

My 1 night in Monticello were very nice. Its location not too far away from Loyd's Lake was particularly good and perfect. The hotel was a useful base for enjoying a very quite area. The service offered was welcoming...

The stuff was fantastic, knowledgeable. The rooms where compact, contemporary, came with all equipment, coffee maker plus comfortable bed. A microwave, coffee & tea making machines and a fridge were a nice touch.

I checked into Atomic Blue Motor-Inn and found it super easy. The staff at the front desk greeted me with a friendly smile. My room was clean, with cozy beds, a tv, and a decent amount of space for one person. I appreciated the little touches in the decor that added character. It felt comfortable and cute. The bathroom was tidy, and the shower had excellent water pressure, a must for me. The only downside was the old window AC unit. It was quite noisy and made it hard to sleep at times. The pillows were on the firmer side, but I managed to get a good night's sleep anyway. The convenience of parking right in front of my room made moving my things super easy. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick stop when passing through Monticello.

Excellent motel. The staff is friendly. The room itself is clean. Bed linen and towels are snow-white. Well equipped. Everything works. Thank you very much to the staff!
There's nothing to complain about.

Comfortable Overnight Stay for Road Travelers
Enjoyed a cozy night with charming decor. Although the fridge is temperamental, we appreciated the smooth check-in and quiet atmosphere. For meals, don't miss the good Thai restaurant downtown. Bring your favorites, as breakfast items might get frozen in the fridge!

Nothing - a low point in our vacation The Horse Head Inn is a disgrace to the community of Monticello.
1. Old, poorly maintained, rundown facility (see attached photos) 2. Advertised Wi-Fi was unreliable (losing connection every few minutes) 3. Staff was disinterested in our request for service and help 4. Continual highway noise 5. The bed caved to the middle and the "fitted sheets" slipped off the mattress 6. The bathroom fixtures were cracked and discolored 7. No ceiling fixture - only a 60 watt bulb 8. They advertised a low rate and then claimed the rooms were filled and we had to pay significantly more for the room.

The room was clean and spacious, featuring a comfortable king bed and pleasant retro decor. Although there was some highway noise, the friendly staff provided helpful recommendations for local dining. A slight downside was the aggressive texts requesting feedback post-stay, which felt a bit overwhelming.

The room was nice and clean with a comfy king-size bed. Loved the updated bathroom and the shower had two different heads, a nice touch. The little sitting area with comfy chairs was great too. It did seem a bit small but had everything we needed and felt cozy. The window unit kept things cool and comfortable all night. Can't complain about the cleanliness and how everything worked well.

Unit was just great for our one night stay. The front desk lady was friendly. The room has a table and a desk and a wonderful bathroom.. Had a microwave and small ref.. Very clean away from traffic and noise. Some units were right next to the street, but not ours. You can save money on those next to street, but I think it would be noisy and not as safe. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I am passing thru that area again.. Wi Fi was weak but worked.
Some Units had flat screen T. V. but not this unit. I would hope to get a flat screen T.V. the next time.
